Quality Control

At Chinee Printing Co.,Ltd., quality control is integrated into each stage of production, from material verification and artwork review to printing, finishing, packing, and shipment. Our procedures are designed to maintain consistent color, accurate dimensions, clear graphics, reliable construction, and appropriate finishing across products such as books, brochures, catalogs, business cards, calendars, labels, stickers, banners, paper bags, packaging boxes, plastic and metal printed items, and 3D printed components.

Inspection requirements are established according to the approved artwork, product specifications, samples, intended application, and order requirements. Our teams use internal inspection standards and industry-aligned practices while maintaining production records for traceability and review.

1. Incoming Material Inspection

Paper, board, films, plastics, metals, inks, adhesives, binding materials, packaging supplies, and other components are checked before production. The inspection criteria vary according to the material and the intended product.

• Material identification: The material type, grade, thickness, weight, finish, color, and quantity are checked against the production requirements.
• Surface condition: Materials are examined for contamination, scratches, dents, warping, moisture damage, and other visible defects that could affect printing or converting.
• Print and finishing compatibility: Selected substrates, inks, coatings, adhesives, and finishing materials are reviewed for suitability, subject to the product specifications.
• Critical components: Handles, closures, binding materials, laminating films, transfer materials, and other functional components are checked before use where applicable.

2. Prepress and In-Process Quality Control

Before production begins, artwork and order details are reviewed to help identify potential issues involving dimensions, bleed, image resolution, color settings, text placement, finishing areas, and construction. Customer-approved files or samples are used as the production reference.

During printing and converting, operators monitor key parameters at appropriate production stages. Checks may include:

• Color and print consistency: Ink density, color appearance, registration, image clarity, and uniformity are monitored against the approved reference and agreed tolerances.
• Dimensions and positioning: Trim size, margins, folds, perforations, die-cut positions, label layouts, and structural elements are checked according to the specifications.
• Finishing quality: Lamination, coating, foil stamping, embossing, binding, gluing, stitching, and transfer printing are inspected for alignment, adhesion, and appearance where applicable.
• Process sampling: Samples are reviewed during production so that variations can be identified and addressed before subsequent stages.
• Product-specific controls: Sticker adhesion, banner finishing, book pagination, packaging-box assembly, bag construction, and printed plastic or metal surfaces are assessed according to their intended use.

3. Finished Product Inspection

Completed products undergo final inspection based on the order specifications and approved reference. Inspection methods and sampling levels are selected according to the product type, order requirements, and relevant quality considerations.

• Visual appearance: Finished items are checked for printing defects, color variation, stains, scratches, creases, bubbles, uneven coating, and other visible issues.
• Content and assembly: Text, graphics, page sequence, binding, folding, gluing, die cutting, and component placement are reviewed as applicable.
• Dimensions and quantity: Product size, material thickness, finished configuration, and packed quantity are verified against the confirmed specifications.
• Functional performance: Relevant features may be checked through adhesion, opening and closing, assembly, handling, fit, or other practical evaluations appropriate to the product.
• Workmanship: Edges, corners, seams, handles, closures, binding areas, and finished surfaces are examined for consistency and acceptable construction.

4. Packaging and Pre-Shipment Check

Packaging is selected with consideration for the product’s material, shape, surface finish, weight, and transportation conditions. Printed materials and finished goods are packed to help reduce movement, moisture exposure, abrasion, crushing, and edge damage during normal handling and transit.

• Packing verification: Inner packing, cartons, protective materials, carton strength, and packing configuration are checked against the order requirements.
• Label review: Product labels, carton marks, barcodes, shipping marks, and customer-specified identification are verified when included in the order.
• Quantity confirmation: Pack quantities and the total shipment quantity are reviewed before dispatch.
• Shipment readiness: Carton condition, closure, documentation, and order identification are checked before goods are released for shipment.

5. Feedback, Corrective Action, and Continuous Improvement

Chinee Printing Co.,Ltd. treats customer feedback as an important part of quality management. When a quality concern is reported, our team reviews the available order records, approved files, samples, production information, inspection findings, and photographs or other supporting details provided by the customer.

Depending on the nature of the issue, the review may include identifying the cause, isolating affected products, adjusting process parameters, clarifying specifications, improving inspection points, or updating handling and packaging methods. Corrective and preventive actions are communicated to the relevant teams and incorporated into future production where appropriate. This practical feedback process helps us improve consistency and align each order more closely with customer expectations.
